May 2, 2009 – Waterloo, ON

It was a full house at the Kitchener-Waterloo Humane Society when Dr. Stanley Coren arrived for a Q&A session and to help local dog owners with general questions concerning their dogs.  Matt Bellew, of HankyBean, was there to help provide solutions to everyday issues including nutrition and diet, jumping and barking, and leash manners.

This was the first time Dr. Coren visited the KW Humane Society as part of a spring “adoptathon” drive.  The event was an overall success and we look forward to next year’s event.

Matt Bellew volunteers his time, on behalf of HankyBean, to work with dogs at the shelter, trying to give them a foundation of obedience training in an effort to make them more adoptable and find loving, lifetime homes.
